Discover Clara Rivera Fine Arts

Clara Rivera was born on December 15, 1971, in Cali, Colombia. She is a mother of three—two girls and one boy. Clara graduated in Colombia as a preschool teacher and taught from kindergarten to second grade until 2009. In that year, she decided to move to the United States with the purpose of obtaining more opportunities and a better life for her whole family. Throughout the past years, she worked at a Jewish community center as a teacher. During this time, Clara also pursued a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, graduating in 2021. She is currently working at South Broward Montessori Charter School as a first-grade teacher.

In addition to her teaching career, Clara had another dream of becoming an artist. In 2022, she started taking art classes, and her ambition grew when she discovered her potential and talent for painting. Over the next few years, Clara hopes to continue practicing art, as her dream is to become a professional artist.
